At Talent Affair Pvt. Ltd. (“Talent Affair”), the trust of every candidate and company we work with depends on how carefully we handle their data. This page explains the measures we take to keep resumes, profiles, job briefs, and account information secure across our platform.
1. Our Commitment
We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal and business information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, and disclosure. Security is built into how we design our systems and processes, not treated as an afterthought.
2. Data Encryption
- Data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Sensitive data at rest, including resumes and personal identifiers, is stored on secured infrastructure with restricted access.
- Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
3. Access Controls
Access to candidate and company data is limited strictly to team members who need it to do their job — for example, matching candidates to roles or coordinating an interview. Every account on our platform is role-based, so candidates, companies, and our internal team only see the information relevant to them.
4. Resume and Document Handling
Resumes, portfolios, and verification documents you upload are stored securely and shared only with the specific hiring company you are being considered for. We do not publish resumes publicly or make them searchable outside our internal screening process.
5. Account Security — Your Responsibility
You also play a role in keeping your account safe:
- Use a strong, unique password for your Talent Affair account.
- Never share your login credentials with anyone.
- Log out of shared or public devices after use.
- Contact us immediately if you notice any suspicious activity on your account.
Talent Affair will never ask you for your password over email, WhatsApp, or phone. Treat any such request as fraudulent and report it to us right away.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with a small number of trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, and analytics. Each provider is selected for their own security practices, and we share only the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function.
7. Monitoring and Incident Response
We monitor our systems for unusual activity and maintain a process to investigate and respond to security incidents. If a data breach were ever to affect your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, and take immediate steps to contain and remediate the issue.
8. Confidentiality of Job Briefs
Job briefs, hiring plans, and salary structures shared by companies are treated as confidential business information. We restrict access to this data to the recruiters actively working on that role and do not disclose it outside the scope of the engagement.
9. Reporting a Vulnerability
If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability on our platform, please report it responsibly by emailing us rather than disclosing it publicly. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
10. Related Policies
This page should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which describe how we collect and use personal information more broadly.
